The MFC (Microbial Fuel Cell) is a particular type of fuel cell wich exploit a microorganism to produce electricity from the oxidation of an organic substrate (e.g. glucose). In the cell which was assemble in our school we used the common yeast as oxidant microorganism and pure glucose as fuel.
Project realized in collaboration with Politecnico di Torino.
